STA Legal, our sister firm of solicitors, takes cases from pre-action correspondence through to judgment and enforcement. It is for creditors whose debtor has not paid after recovery has been tried. Legal action only goes ahead on your written instruction. STA International is FCA authorised, has been a member of the Credit Services Association since 1995 and holds ISO 9001 & 27001.
Escalation without starting again.
If a debt we're recovering needs court action, it moves to STA Legal with your instruction, and the full case history goes with it. Every call, letter and negotiation is already on file.
Recovery stalls
The debtor won't pay after structured contact and negotiation, or disputes the debt in a way only a court can settle.
You decide
We set out the options, the likely costs on STA Legal's published tariff, and our honest view of whether proceedings will recover the money. Nothing is issued without your written instruction.
STA Legal takes over
Proceedings issued, the claim pursued to judgment, and you're kept informed of progress and any offers.
Enforcement
Once judgment is obtained, STA Legal enforces it through the appropriate route.
